THE LA MARATHON IS ON SUNDAY. I'D LIKE TO AVOID DOWNTOWN, SO WE'RE GOING TO MEET UP WITH THE REST OF THE GROUP AT 1-5 & LAKE HUGHES ROAD. WE'LL MEET AT 10:30A, AND LEAVE AT 10:45A. NOT MUCH OF A TIME DIFFERENCE, BUT THE ROUTE HAS CHANGED SLIGHTLY. FEEL FREE TO HIT THE ROUTE ANYWHERE YOU WANT. SEE YOU ON THE ROAD! ~Charlie
We'll be meeting up with the SoCal Sportbike Riders. You will find their post below:
I'm going to by-pass their breakfast in LaVerne, and plan on meeting up with them at the Shell Station located at I-210 & ACH. They are scheduled to leave the Shell around 11a, and we'll follow the group directions from there.
I'll be at the Chevron gas station at the corner of Overland and National, LA 90034, on the south/east side of the 10-frwy, at about 10:15a, planning on departing by 10:30a in order to make it to I-210 & ACH. It'll be a quick paced ride and we'll need to leave on time in order to make the meet up point.

This ride has a lot of everything, interstate, scenic highways, straight aways, sweepers, and twisties! We'll also see three different lakes along the way, (Castaic, Hughes, & Elizabeth).
We'll meet at Denny's 919 Foothill Blvd, (I-210 & Foothill) La Verne, CA 91750 [masked] for breakfast at 9:30am, leaving at 10:30am down the I-210 to ACH - Shell Gas Station off the 210fwy and Angela Crest Hwy in La Canada to meet up with the LA riders around 11AM.
From there, we'll get back on the 210 and continue west, to the I-5. We'll then go north on I-5 to Lake Hughes Road. We'll gas/rest in Castaic, where we will meetup with the rest of the Riders around 11:30am leaving around 11:45AM , then continue non-stop to Lake Hughes Rd, to Lake Hughes where we'll stop at the Rock Inn for lunch.
After lunch we'll shoot down San Francisquito Canyon Rd to the city of Santa Clarita or maybe down Sand Canyon Rd and stop for gas/rest and then head towards our home area's.
This is the same route taken by Motorcycle USA when they did their 2007 Sportbike Shoot Out, but more importantly, it's the same route taken by Shear'Ree, Lee, Gregg, Carmelo, Edgar and Sammy - LOL Who the hell is Motorcycle USA compared to us! SoCal, SoCal SoCal!.
