Are you a young biker who doesn't have a group or partner to go on a ride with? If so, it would be great if we could bike together. I love to go on long day rides and also some night rides after work. I want to create this group that is convenient for SF residents and young people. My goal is to create a group of bikers, find some new areas to bike, and to meet good people.

We are a group of women riders looking for fellowship and friendship. We ride Harleys, but it really doesn't matter what you own. A typical ride for us is meeting for breakfast at one of the great local spots. From there we tend to prefer the windy, scenic trips that can take your breath away. Starting a motorcycle group in Elk Grove as most of the groups are in Sacramento. Hoping to meet some mature & responsible riders to hang out with, make friends, ride to some interesting places, etc. All riding levels are welcome (male and female). I don't believe there are any groups out there right now in EG, but it's okay to start out small and you can get in at the ground floor and help make this a great group.

Piston & Chain is first and foremost a motorcycle club. We gather in the evenings, use community tools to maintain (and improve!) our motorcycles. We also organize group rides and adventures. We favor all sorts of motorcycles, but have a soft spot for classic bikes of the 70’s as well as Adventure and dirt bikes. Anyone may join our club. We are also a retailer. This is the place for folks that live in the SF Bay Area but like to go a long way on their motorcycle. 1000 miles in a day was a start, but we are always looking to go further and see the world.

This group is a fantastic way to experience the coastside. We are motorcycle riders that also incorporate hiking into our ride.  We will ride the windy, often single-lane, coastal roads from Half Moon Bay to Pescadero and will stop off at one of the many State or County parks for a 60-90 min hike. We will ride short stretches of Hwy 1 and avoid interstates. Roads include Higgins Canyon, Lobitos Creek, Tunitas Creek, Hwy 84, Stage and Pescadero roads.
